SBC presidential outcome

Today Frank Page was elected president of our convention for this next term.  While I did not cast my vote for Dr. Page (as many others didn’t), let us remember that we have still elected a fellow conservative.  And I cast my vote of confidence with his upcoming leadership and look forward to what our Lord will do with him at the helm of our great denomination.

The stats on the vote are as follows:

     Ronnie Floyd—2247 votes at 24.95%
     Jerry Sutton—2168 at 24.08%
     Frank Page—4546 at 50.48%
